Vivax-Metrotech gives you the flexibility to cover a range of inspections including municipal collection systems, residential plumbing, indoor commercial lines, and lateral lines from three inches up to eight inches in diameter. Vivax- Metrotech camera systems use the latest technology packaged in a rugged, lightweight, compact profile made specifically for the harsh conditions related to sewer lateral inspections. Portable inspection systems provide the power of a vehicle mounted system in a more versatile and affordable package. Dawson Infrastructure Solutions offers portable mainline and lateral inspection equipment to solve many daily industry challenges, including:
- Poor accessibility – Manholes or other access points that are located in easements, back yards, off-road or on golf courses. Use a portable system to reach places that are not possible from a large vehicle.
- Affordability – A mainline camera system is needed, but there is not enough justification for a vehicle mounted system. Use a portable system when budgets fall shy of a vehicle mounted system. Purchase the same quality components of the vehicle system in a portable package now, and move them to a vehicle as your budget grows.

The MainLite® Systems are based around two very compact cable drums (KW 206 & KW 306) and the revolutionary BP series of multi-function controllers, with Windows 10 integrated! Mount the unit in a truck, or make it portable with the optional Portable Cart that is available for purchase. MiniLite® 2.0 (Mobile System)
The new MiniLite 2.0 Push Camera System features an all new controller module design. With a bright 10″ touch screen and a built in Windows PC, this controller is ready right out of the box. The new multi-function joystick allows precise control of our pan & tilt cameras, and with continuous rotation built-in, you won’t have to worry about over-rotating your camera. This system is a compact and versatile platform for inspection of small diameter sewer lines, and is compatible with NANO, NANO-L, ORION (3x Digital Zoom), ORION-L (3x Digital Zoom), and AXIAL cameras. Optional skid configurations are available. Inspection range is 3" (75mm) - 48" (1200mm).
vCam-6 HD Inspection System by Vivax Metrotech

vCamMX-2 by Vivax-Metrotech
The vCamMX-2 all-in-one mini inspection system gives you the flexibility to cover a range of inspections including indoor drain lines, residential plumbing, indoor commercial lines, and lateral lines up to four inches in diameter. The vCamMX-2 control module is designed and manufactured with the plumbing contractors’ needs in mind. The latest technology in imaging and recording are packaged in a rugged ABS injection molded housing mounted to the stainless-steel frame, made specifically for harsh conditions.
Made of stainless steel tubular construction with a lightweight rugged carbon fiber pushrod drum. The multi angle LCD and frame which can be used in an upright or horizontal position, and is usable in tight confined spaces. The pushrod is traceable with the use of a utility locator transmitter and comes with a three frequency built-in locatable sonde.
Two user interchangeable camera heads fit the Type-MX reel giving the user flexibility to handle lines from one to four inches. The system is available in 100 and 150-foot lengths.
