T-Strainer Assembly
The T-Strainer Assembly includes the main body of the strainer (plumbing for NPT based on model), strainer screen, clear cover bowl and gasket. This inline water filtration device prevents particles and debris from getting into the hydro excavator's water pump, causing damage to the pump. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
Trident Wireless Remote System
The Aarcomm Trident Remote control system provides machine operators with proven reliability and superior performance to get the job done - no matter what the conditions.
The Aarcomm Trident Aftermarket Retrofit Kit gets you up and running with the top performing radio remote control on the market. You don't have to change existing wiring, making it easy to install in 30 minutes or less. Just remove your existing receiver and plug in the Aarcomm receiver. Just plug and play and get back to work. (The Aarcomm Trident Aftermarket Retrofit Kit is only for replacement of a Omnex/Eaton wireless remote system currently on a unit).
The Trident features include longer range than competitor systems, a charging platform to recharge the handheld transmitter (no more battery replacements), a true waterproof handheld transmitter and a simple harness to adapt to your machine. The range strength helps to get signals through even the highest level of interference and structural materials that block other remote systems (like hospitals, parking structures, steel buildings, etc)! Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
Pressure Relief Valve
The Pressure Relief Valve is designed to regulate and control the maximum pressure for the water systems on jetting and hydro excavation equipment. Provides safety and protection for the equipment and more importantly the operator. On jetting machines using 3/4" sewer hose the relief valve has a rating of 20-50 GPM and up to 2900 PSI.
For jetting machines using 1" or larger sewer hose, the relief valves shown are rated from 25-100 GPM and will handle up to 4000 PSI based on the specific valves shown below. In the small jetters with 1/2" hose systems and for hydro-excavation water systems, the pressure relief valve is plumbed between the water pump and the boiler, if so equipped. That specifically rated valve is rated for up to 20 GPM and 4000 PSI. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
Final Filter Element
The Final Filter Element is a high efficiency final filter for vacuum excavation systems. This filter is rated for machines with systems up to 5400 CFM. Most machines with 4000 to 5400 CFM require 2 elements. These filter elements are washable to maintain better filtration and longer filter life.
On 3000 CFM machines, usually they only require 1 element. Your machine may vary by build. We always recommend having two sets of filters for a machine - one set can be used in the machine while the other set is washed out and dried between uses. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
Float Ball
The Float Ball is used in conjunction with the mesh float ball cage, allowing the liquid level of the debris tank to close off the vacuum system. This in turn prevents overfilling the tank and potentially causing component damage. Stainless steel construction for long service life. For sizes, please contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions
Y-Strainer Assembly
The Y-Strainer Assembly is located between the water pump and tank. The screen filters and prevents foreign material from entering the pump. This results in a cleaner supply of water for maximum pump protection and life.
The Y-strainer is constructed of cast steel with a stainless steel screen for the steel version or high impact PVC materials in the plastic form. Be sure to select the size of the strainer and the material type when ordering. For assistance, please contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions.
Electrical Components - Switches, Potentiometers and Gauges
The Electrical Components for making repairs to your jetter, rodder, jet-rodder, combination machine, hydro excavator or easement machine is as easy as clicking here for the parts. Dawson Infrastructure Solutions has a great supply of various switches, indicator lights, gauges, and components to help keep your machine running. Avoid downtime by keeping these inexpensive parts on-hand in your shop. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
Hannay/Semler Hose Reel - Spring Loaded
This Hannay Hose Reel is designed with the standard "N" series of narrow frame and compact mounting base. The reel features a non-sparking ratchet assembly, de-clutching arbor to prevent damage from reverse winding, standard inlet 90 degree balanced pressure swivel joint with 1/2" female NPT threads and a standard inlet of 1/2" female NPT threads, pressure rated to 3000 psi, operating temperatures of -60 to +250 degrees F (-51 to +121 degrees C) and a four-way roller assembly. Replacement hose and component repair parts available. For sizes please contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions.
Unloader Valve
The Unloader Valve is designed to regulate and control the maximum pressure for the water systems on jetting and hydro excavation equipment. Provides safety and protection for the equipment and more importantly the operator. In the HX water systems, the unloader valve is plumbed after the water heater and before the operator hose reel station. This is a protection for the water heater from shock loads when the operator shuts off the digging wand. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
**NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH RELIEF VALVE! NOT FOR USE ON MONGOOSE PRODUCTS!**

Water Heater Systems - Hotsy
The Hotsy Water Heater is an ideal heating system for your hydro excavator or jetter when fighting frozen ground or sewer lines, grease build up, and clay ground conditions where just using high pressure water is not getting the job done. The Hotsy boiler has a diagnostic control panel that helps diagnose operational issues in the event repairs need to be done. The primary models are the 400K, 800K, and 900K BTU Water Heaters. Repair and service parts are available as well, please contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions.
Worm Gear Drive
The Worm Gear Drive is used on hydro excavation machines as the boom rotation "turret". The worm gear design allows controlled rotation and the heavy duty bearing type holds up under the rigors of hydro excavation. This worm gear can also be used on hose reels for reel rotation. Confirm the size of the inside 'throat' of the opening on your worm gear drive to ensure you order the correct size. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more assistance.

Please Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for assistance on ordering the correct Roots Model.
Air Excavation Accessories
The Air Excavation Accessories allow maximum digging capabilities utilizing compressed air for excavation vs water. Dry digging "spoils" can usually be returned to the excavation when finished, eliminating the need for sand, gravel or dirt fill to be brought to finish up the project. Dawson Infrastructure Solutions carries a full line of air tools and digging accessories to fill the bill for your dry excavation needs. Contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more assistance.
Pressure and Vacuum Gauges
Dawson Infrastructure Solutions offers replacement pressure and vacuum gauges for your HX units. The Pressure Gauge for the system water pressure on the HX model hydro excavator is the lower mounted gauge by the control panel. The gauge's face measures 4-1/2" and flanged for attachment to the control panel. The gauge has an operating range from 0 to 5000 PSI water pressure. It is equipped with a 23' long antifreeze filled capillary tube for connection to the water system for accurate pressure readings and cold weather capabilities.
The gauge is filled with a high visibility silicone fluid. The Pressure/Vacuum Gauge for the system's air pressure/vacuum measurement utilized on the HX model hydro excavator is the upper mounted position next to the control panel. The vacuum gauge's face measures 4-1/2" and is flanged for attachment to a control panel. The gauge has an operating range of 0 to 30" Hg on the vacuum side and 0 to 15 PSI on the air pressure side. The gauge is filled with a high visibility silicone fluid.
Note: The capillary tube attached to either one of these gauges must remain attached to the gauge. Removal of the capillary tube will cause the gauge to malfunction. Please contact Dawson Infrastructure Solutions for more information.
